A 5-ton overhead crane is an overhead lifting device with a rated load capacity of 5 tons. It primarily consists of a bridge structure, a long-travel mechanism, a trolley, an electric hoist or hoisting mechanism, an electrical control system, and safety protection devices. By combining the longitudinal movement of the crane along the facility’s runway rails, the lateral movement of the trolley along the main girder, and the vertical lifting motion of the hoisting mechanism, the equipment enables three-dimensional material handling within the workspace.
