We met this customer at the Chile exhibition in April 2025. The customer specializes in the custom manufacturing and sales of sealing machines, hydraulic cylinders, and industrial metal components. During the exhibition, we introduced our overhead crane solutions and discussed their current lifting operations and future expansion plans.

At the time, the customer was using a locally purchased 5-ton overhead crane in Chile. They reported that the crane performed well, but the price was relatively high, prompting them to look for a more cost-effective and scalable solution. Through in-depth discussions, we learned that the customer planned to install two 10-ton and one 15-ton double girder overhead crane, designed to share the same support columns, optimizing space utilization and infrastructure costs.

After the exhibition, we provided a preliminary quotation and technical proposal, even though the customer was not yet ready to proceed with procurement. In the following months, we maintained regular communication by sharing project case studies, exhibition updates, product improvements, and our business development progress in South America, which helped strengthen trust and keep our company top of mind.

By October 2025, the customer confirmed their factory layout and construction progress and began preparing for crane procurement. One of their key concerns was the foundation and civil engineering design, as the cranes would impose significant load on the building structure. To address this, we arranged a video conference involving our engineering team, during which we reviewed the workshop drawings, explained load calculations, and provided guidance on foundation reinforcement and column design.

We also discussed and confirmed payment terms, delivery schedule, and technical specifications, ultimately reaching a strong cooperation intention. After the order was officially confirmed, we committed to delivering foundation drawings within five working days, helping the customer proceed with civil construction without delay. Additionally, we provided production drawings for final approval and carefully reconfirmed all technical parameters before manufacturing.

To further support the project, we supplied anchor bolts, along with a set of wearing parts and spare components, ensuring long-term operational reliability and reduced maintenance downtime.

This project demonstrates our ability to support customers from early planning to final execution, provide technical engineering assistance, and deliver customized double girder overhead crane systems tailored to complex industrial environments.

Introduction to Double Girder Overhead Cranes

Double girder overhead cranes are heavy-duty lifting systems designed for high-capacity, high-frequency, and precision material handling in industrial environments. Featuring two main girders, they provide greater structural strength, higher load capacity, and improved stability compared to single girder cranes.

These cranes are ideal for applications requiring lifting capacities ranging from 5 tons to over 100 tons, as well as long spans and high lifting heights. Their design allows for the installation of trolleys with higher lifting speeds, larger drums, and advanced control systems, making them suitable for demanding production workflows.

Key Advantages

♦Higher Load Capacity: Capable of handling heavier loads with enhanced safety margins.

♦Improved Structural Rigidity: Two-girder design ensures reduced deflection and longer service life.

♦Greater Lifting Height: Hoist and trolley run on top of girders, maximizing vertical lifting space.

♦Advanced Control Options: Supports remote control, cabin operation, synchronized lifting, and smart automation.

♦Wide Customization Capability: Span, height, speed, power supply, and safety features can be tailored to project needs.

Typical Application Areas

♦Heavy Machinery Manufacturing: Lifting large components, molds, and assembled equipment.

♦Steel and Metal Fabrication Plants: Handling steel plates, beams, coils, and long materials.

♦Energy and Power Facilities: Installing turbines, transformers, and heavy electrical systems.

♦Automotive and Industrial Assembly Lines: Supporting high-precision and high-frequency lifting operations.

♦Warehousing and Logistics Centers: Efficient movement of heavy pallets and oversized goods.

♦Construction and Infrastructure Projects: Handling prefabricated components and structural modules.

With their high performance, durability, safety, and adaptability, double girder overhead cranes are a reliable long-term investment for factories seeking efficient and heavy-duty material handling solutions.
