Top Running Crane

A top running bridge crane operates on rails installed along the top of the runway beams, allowing the end trucks to move the bridge and hoist across the workshop. It is available in both single girder and double girder configurations, with the hoist arrangement selected according to the crane design and lifting requirements. Compared with under running cranes, top running bridge cranes generally offer greater lifting capacity and wider span options, making them suitable for heavy-duty material handling in manufacturing plants, warehouses and industrial facilities.
