In September 2024, SEVENCRANE received a product inquiry from a client through the Alibaba platform. The client was the general manager of a local consumer goods company, and their inquiry about lifting equipment was primarily to improve the loading and unloading efficiency of their warehouse, specifically for lifting and handling bagged goods. Due to the frequent daily inbound and outbound operations, the client wanted a lifting solution that was both safe and reliable, and truly suitable for the warehouse’s operating conditions.

 

In the initial communication, the client emphasized the importance of the solution’s applicability. To find the most suitable equipment, the client compared various lifting equipment options, including portable gantry cranes, rubber tyred gantry cranes, single-girder gantry cranes, and single-girder bridge cranes. Recognizing the client’s cautious approach, SEVENCRANE did not rush to recommend a single product. Instead, considering the client’s warehouse structure, available height, lifting capacity requirements, and daily operating frequency, SEVENCRANE analyzed the advantages, disadvantages, and applicable scenarios of each solution for the client.

 

During the communication process, we provided the client with detailed technical parameters, floor plans, and application examples, highlighting the impact of different equipment on space occupancy, operating efficiency, and subsequent maintenance when used in the warehouse. Through multiple rounds of comparison, the client gradually realized that while portable gantry cranes and rubber tyred gantry cranes offered some flexibility, their stability and operational efficiency were limited in long-term, high-frequency warehouse operations. Furthermore, single-girder gantry cranes did not utilize warehouse space as efficiently as bridge cranes.

 

Considering factors such as safety, operational efficiency, and long-term operating costs, the client ultimately determined that a single girder bridge crane was the most suitable solution for their warehouse needs. Single girder bridge cranes not only fully utilize the space above the factory building but also achieve efficient lifting covering the entire warehouse operating area, making them particularly suitable for the frequent handling of bagged goods.

 

After confirming the solution, SEVENCRANE further optimized the configuration based on the client’s actual operating conditions, including details such as lifting speed, control methods, and safety protection devices. Following internal evaluation and budget planning, the client completed payment in November of this year, officially confirming the order.
