1.Customer Background

Franco Fabril S.A. is an agricultural machinery manufacturing enterprise located in Argentina, specializing in the processing and assembly of agricultural machinery. With the increase in orders, the original factory space became insufficient. The customer initiated the expansion of the factory and needed to add a batch of lifting equipment.

The customer had previous experience in purchasing overhead cranes and was familiar with equipment selection, installation, and project processes. During the first communication, the customer proposed a complete requirement: to configure two bridge cranes with different lifting capacities for the new factory building, for the transportation of materials in the workshop and component assembly. The customer initiated the consultation through the SEVENCRANE website and established direct contact with the technical team.

2.Project Requirements

The core of this project is to complete the selection and supply of two bridge cranes simultaneously during the factory expansion. The new factory building is still in the construction phase, and the height of the crane beams, track spacing, and net height of the factory have not been determined yet. The selection must be synchronized with the steel structure design, and any deviation may affect the equipment installation and subsequent operation.

Therefore, the customer has strict requirements for equipment size, installation method, and steel structure reserved conditions. Around this requirement, SEVENCRANE needs to provide a bridge crane solution that meets the lifting requirements and can smoothly connect with the steel structure without interrupting the factory construction.

3.Customized Solution

Facing the actual situation of factory expansion, SEVENCRANE provided two alternative solutions for the customer: one is an overall supply solution including steel structure, where SEVENCRANE is responsible for the installation of the steel structure and bridge cranes to achieve turnkey delivery; the other is a solution that only provides bridge cranes, with the factory steel structure arranged for construction by the customer separately.

After comprehensive evaluation, the customer decided to have the local contractor responsible for the steel structure construction. The local contractor is familiar with local building materials, construction norms, and schedules, and can better coordinate with the progress of factory construction.

To enable the customer and the local contractor to accurately determine the height design and reserved dimensions of the steel structure, SEVENCRANE provided detailed bridge crane drawings, clearly marking key parameters such as the overall size of the European type single girder overhead crane, crane beam height, track spacing, lifting height, and operating space.

With the drawings, the customer and the contractor can directly calculate the column height, crane beam elevation, and factory net height, ensuring smooth installation of the equipment after delivery and no need for rework. Both parties conducted multiple rounds of verification around the drawings and technical parameters, gradually reaching consensus on the selection, installation height, and reserved space.

The “equipment supply + technical drawing support” cooperation mode is the key highlight of this project, which not only solves equipment supply but also helps the customer coordinate the matching between the equipment and the factory structure.

4.Final Order

The customer finally purchased two SNHD single girder overhead cranes.

Both equipment adopt the European single girder structure, with light self-weight, compact structure, and stable operation, suitable for the daily lifting in the agricultural workshop. The 6.5t equipment is responsible for heavy component assembly, and the 3.5t equipment is responsible for medium material transportation, covering the main lifting processes in the workshop.

5.Future Cooperation

The customer’s factory is still in the expansion stage, and there may be more requirements for lifting equipment purchases in the future. This cooperation not only completed the supply of European type single girder overhead cranes but also established a smooth collaboration foundation for both parties.
