In February 2026, SEVENCRANE received an inquiry through Alibaba from a customer in Georgia. The customer was planning to purchase a 10-ton single girder overhead crane for lifting plastic molds in his production workshop.

From the very beginning, the customer had clear technical requirements. Since the installation space inside the workshop was limited, the crane needed to adopt a low-headroom and recessed design to maximize the available lifting height. In addition, the customer specifically requested that the location of the recessed beam be clearly indicated on the technical drawings to ensure compatibility with the existing workshop structure.

After receiving the requirements, our engineering team immediately began working on the project. We carefully studied the workshop layout and revised the drawings several times to optimize the crane design. Detailed technical drawings, including the recessed beam position, installation dimensions, and lifting height calculations, were prepared and sent to the customer for confirmation. Following the technical confirmation, the discussion moved to commercial terms. The customer requested a discount to help control the project budget. Considering this was our first cooperation and that the project had good potential for future business, we provided a competitive price adjustment and a detailed production schedule.

Impressed by our professionalism and willingness to accommodate his requirements, the customer decided to place the order without lengthy negotiations. However, as this was the first cooperation between both parties, the customer requested more secure payment arrangements. After friendly discussions, we agreed to reduce the advance payment to 30%, demonstrating our confidence in the partnership.

To further ensure transaction security, the customer placed the order through Alibaba and additionally purchased Alibaba Trade Assurance inspection services. During production and after completion, Alibaba representatives would follow up on the project and conduct on-site inspections and photo verification of the equipment before shipment.
