Small tonnage electric overhead travelling cranes are often used in machinery manufacturing, assembly, warehouses and other places. The tonnage is generally less than 50 tons, but the working intensity is no less than that of large tonnage lifting equipment.

EOT crane, the full name is electric overhead travelling crane, is a light crane. The EOT crane is composed of a lifting mechanism, a trolley operating mechanism, and a trolley frame. The lifting mechanism includes motor, brake, reducer, drum, pulley block, etc. The motor drives the drum to rotate through the reduction gear, so that the wire rope is wound around the drum or dropped from the drum to lift heavy objects.

Single girder eot crane is consisting of the main beam, end beam, electric hoist, travelling mechanism, hand controller, and electrical control system. The electric hoist can move horizontally on the rail fitted under a beam. The electric overhead travelling crane holds many characters of light structure, easy to install and maintain, which is typically used for either manufacturing or maintenance applications where efficiency or downtime are critical factors, for instance, plants, warehouses, or material stocks.

Each contactor and the main and auxiliary contacts of the relay should be checked regularly. If any singeing occurs, they should be smoothed with fine sandpaper. If severe, they should be replaced.
